Advocacy in Action Lunch & Learn: Early Childhood Education

The National Council of Jewish Women St. Louis is excited to have Lovely Snowden along with Elisa Zieg, Program Officer at United 4 Children at the December 17, 2020 Lunch & Learn to discuss early childhood education.

Lovely Snowden received her education from Harris Stowe State University here in St. Louis and currently is a Youth Services consultant at the South City YMCA. Lovely has almost 40 years of experience in childcare and education. She has worked at Southside Early Childhood, Child Day Care Association, United 4 Children, Mime’s Day Care, Transitional Hope House, Linton Charter School, and Bethesda Hospital Day Care. She currently volunteers with a remarkable group of individuals through the Child Care Entrepreneurs Partnership, part of the nonprofit Link St. Louis in the Hyde Park neighborhood.

Elisa Zieg has made it her life’s mission to advocate for the well-being of children and youth! Using her MA in Conflict Resolution and over 12 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, she has worked to cultivate services that are responsive to the needs of our most vulnerable populations. Her work at United 4 Children specializes in the social and emotional development of children with special needs and challenging behaviors. She uses her energy and passion to support early care and educational programs, ensuring that the programs receive the tools necessary to offer quality to all children, all the time. To further live out her passion, she volunteers with CASA of St. Louis to help give children a strong voice about their future.

We look forward to having Lovely Snowden & Elisa Zieg join us on December 17th!
