We are pioneers…addressing social issues and protecting the rights of women, children and families through innovative action. We are courageous…speaking out and unafraid to do the right thing. We are compassionate, reaching out to the underserved, the vulnerable and those in need. We are progressive…championing child welfare, women’s rights and reproductive freedom. We are thinkers and doers, committed to creating meaningful action at the local and national levels.

We are inspired by Jewish values… to help the weak and work for tikkun olam (repairing the world) and justice for all. We are powerful - as women of diverse backgrounds, passions and interests creating a positive force for change. NCJW works through advocacy, community service, education and research to improve the quality of life for women, children and families, and to ensure individual rights and freedoms for all, in our local community, nationally and globally.
