Recognize A Business that Knows It Matters
Nominations are open for the 2013 Women’s Champion for Social Change Award, which recognizes employers in the St. Louis community that are making a difference in the lives of women in the workplace. For many women surviving domestic abuse, paid work is key to a safe future for themselves and their children. Employers can choose to implement policies that support this security.
This new award is sponsored by SLEVAWN—St. Louis Ending Violence Against Women Network—a coalition of groups in our community that supports domestic violence survivors in their quest to build a new life. Nominations are due by August 28, 2013. Details and nomination form attached. Please mail nomination form to Ellen Alper, NCJW-St. Louis Section, 295 N. Lindbergh, St. Louis, MO 63141, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or fax to 314-993-5362. Call the National Council of Jewish Women at 314-993-5181 with any questions.
The awardee will be honored at a breakfast sponsored by Wells Fargo at its company headquarters on Thursday, October 17 at 7:30am. There is no charge to attend, but RSVP to NCJW at 314-993-5181 or email@example.com.
